Grandma Seebold

I regret to inform everyone that my grandmother past away.

On Thursday April 24th at 11:35 p.m. at the University Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edwardsville Illinois she past away of natural causes. We can only take confort in the fact that she went to sleep and did not wake up bypassing any pain or suffering. Charles and Myrtle Burnett's daughter was born on March 15,1919. William Seebold Sr. married her on July 2,1938 where she remained by his side for 68 years until his passing in 2007. Looking at the number of years she loved and took care of Grandpa showed her distinguished character.

What was a suprise to us all is the strength and courage that she displayed after she was left without him.

She is survived by her two children my dad, William Seebold Jr. (mom, Lynne) and Annette Gillis (husband Mike), 5 grandchildren, Mike Seebold (wife Lori), Kim Dochwat (husband Nick), Tim Seebold (wife Debbie), Cathy Reising (husband Dennis), William Seebold III, 4 great grandchildren, Adam Bernaix (wife Chrystal), Haley Dochwat, Cally and Katy Reising.

Visitation will be held Monday April 28th from 4-8pm at Irwin Chapel located at 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon Illinois. The funeral will be held Tuesday April 29th at 11:30am. Memorials may be made to Legacy Powerboat Ministry, P.O. Box 373, Evinston, Fl. 32633.

Attempting to put into words how I feel about her is impossible for me, she will forever be special. Her love and guidance from the time I was born has been the shining light that directed me. I know whatever good that I bestow in my heart and soul came from her. I will never be able to fill the void that remains as she joins Grandpa in a better place but I take great confort in knowing that she is back by his side with God.

It is with great pride that I enjoyed a close and intimate relationship with her. Grandma I love you.
